MY PATH - The Past

The path that led to the formation of my therapy practice included a variety of life experiences. I spent the first part of my life preparing for and working in a cross-cultural setting, living in a remote part of the world., where I  developed a deep appreciation of diversity and an unwavering belief in the inherent value of every human being.

MY PATH - The Transition

When painful circumstances necessitated a change in my life's direction, I was blessed to have the support of those who were able to hold on to hope for me until I could find it for myself.  As my hopelessness turned into healing, I knew that I could spend my future holding hope for others, and walking alongside them through their own life transitions.

MY PATH - The Present

Most recently my path has led to the opening of my Private Practice where I work together with clients with mental health and/or substance abuse issues.  I use a variety of counseling methods including:  cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, assertiveness training, psychodrama, and EMDR.
